Oregonian coverage of JG stinks

Very disappointed in the coverage of Jerry Glanville. The oregonian needs to have a reporter in his back pocket writing down all of his great stories, all of his experiences dealing with the people of Portland, and any thing they can get on the football team. Ever since his hiring their coverage has been dismal!

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but if the coverage is dismal now, then what was it before? To an extent, I'm just thankful to get any coverage at this time of year for a change.

Since JG has arrived the media representation is the best that i ever seen. Especially for the Oregonian they hardly gave us the light of day and now we are getting more large spreads on the sports page than OU and OSU. That never happens for PSU sports! I for one have been loving the press that we have been receiveing I just hope that it continues throughout the remainder of the year. As for Glanville Fan I would love to see the oregonian in JG back pocket but I'm not pushin any buttons because we used to never get any respect by the oregonian.

For the Oergonian to assign Jim Beseda as the new PSU beat writer is a big deal. He is one of the best sports writers in Oregon and has covered OSU sports for some time.

Again, people love to follow charismatic, fun, entertaining people, and Glanville is just that. For some reason the Oregonian doesn't understand this, one day of coverage for Monday through Friday this past week is not acceptable.

There are so many things you could be covering; From Glanville appearing everywhere in this city, to his football team being good, the season ticket sales exploding, donations flooding in... However, we get one day of coverage???

Cazano, go and get some good scoop because I'm tired of you telling me that JG is leaving. I find your reporting lazy. You to Ian Ruder, use some of your connections to get us a real story about Glanville or the Mouse. No one cares right now about basketball, especially at PSU. Here is an idea, give us a story about the relationship between JG and the Mouse; where did they meet, how has the relationship evolved, what insight has the Mouse given JG about this job.....

Use this momemtum Oregonian while you have it.
