San Bernardino is a Div II school. The winner of the game will play the winner of the UCLA Youngstown game.

Happy Birthday WSUFans... lets hope the Cats can comeback against Youngstown St. and give you a Birthday Victory. (2nd half down 8, 47-39 and 11 min., plenty of time left)

Well this was a bad trip to Cali. I was looking at the stat line from the Youngstown State game. There are a lot of possitives that need to be looked at. The first is the big play out of number 11, Valeika. He had 22 points, and 11 boards, with 9 for 11 shooting. I hope to say that this means that Valeika has arrived. The next stat I saw was good three ball shooting. It was not awsome, but the hit 8 out of 20. That is 40% and that is fair. The last one that I saw was that JP played well. He was 5 for 9 with 14 points, and 2 for 5 from behind the arch. I think that he is getting back into it, and that the knee my be feeling better.
My worries start in the back court. Thier was little production between the three main gaurds. Fifteen points is all that Dez, Kelln and BVB could manage. The shot fifteen total shots, with Dez shooting 9 of them. If we are going to get better we need better off. production from the back court. 15 turnovers i do not know how that is.

Our guards are suppose to the be this teams strength, with our big men being the achilles heal of the team. Fortunately, our big men have been playing great, but our guards have yet to really arrive. Its almost like they are trying to hard and not playing together. Out team looks like they are totally out of sync. This tournament was a disaster for the Cats. CSSB was a fluke, granted they are one of the best teams in Div II, but still; and YSU was a complete joke. If we play our game we win. I'm worried about our teams intensity and consistency. It was almost like they didn't want to play. Oh well next week hopefully they can get back on track.

I don't want to sound like a downer, but that is two "Best of Div. 2" teams that Weber has struggled with going 1-1.
