Comment: As another Beav, I have less of a problem with Glanville, I think that it would blow up in PSU's face, I mean Glanville isn't the type of guy to hold his tongue for too long. Sooner rather than later the PSU Admin would sticks it to the Football program and Athletics in general. And Coach Elvis would spout off. Maybe if they get the right Ath Director, but don't hold out hope. PSU should have put Walsh up for Sainthood after all the garbage the Admin have pulled, so I am not worried about Glanville turning PSU into BSU.

I hope Glanville stirs things up at PSU if he gets the job, athletics lacks the proper backing from the school.

So true but you must understand the dynamics of the university and the personalities of the admin. PSU faculty is a very diverse group of individuals and the majority of them are more are intellectuals who more concerned with what is going in the environment, government, state, nation, international then what is going on with athletics! Not to say that it is bad because it is good for Academic representation and for educating.

That is just how it is and how it will continue to be. The underlying issue is that the Athletic program needs to be sold to the Faculty and Admin that having a successful and good athletic program benefits them and the school. Financially/Fiscally, and National Representation.

If we get Glanville it will help the continuity between both worlds shift to see eye-to-eye alot faster!

Why? Athletics helps bring in more $$$$

I just mean PSU does not treat athletics like other schools treat their athletic departments.
