What's the overall impression through three games heading into the home opener? I was at the Weber State game and they came out playing like I think they are capable of doing. A few points here:
1. What's our offensive identity? I feel like we are at a point where we should set up the run with the pass. Our passing game is pretty good. Our play action bootleg plays worked well at the beginning but we for some reason gave up on that play. Our running game is fair, the problem is Knickrehm, a good player, needs to just go strong into the hole, he's been picking and stretching things out and he's not fast enough to do that.
2. How come Pociano doesn't return punts?
3. Our defense is good but it feels like the other team gets a good grasp of what we are doing after a few drives and we never overcome adjustments made by the other team.
4. This is a good team, the potential is there, I saw it last night because it got away. This can be a middle of the pack in the Big Sky kind of team. And this is coming from a guy who is very critical.
