Was this game from the 'Pack the House' attempt?

204 in attendance! I see the long arm of Hornet marketing really made an impression to draw people. Even though the WBBall program is probably the worst in the country.

Attendance: 204
Score by Periods 1st 2nd Total
Weber State................... 42 35 - 77
Sacramento State.............. 21 25 - 46

Not even close on the Hornet women's team being the worst in the country. They aren't even the worst in Northern California, partner. After the win tonight over Northern Colorado, a 64-62 thriller in the Nest, the women are tied for the 6th in the Big Sky - tournament berth is a real possibility!

Ok, second to worst. That is something to be proud of, glad you were in attendance.

I'm not your partner, I am married.

Dan has a young team this year and boy are these women working their tails off. It was a huge win last night...they held UNC scoreless for the last two and half minutes of the game. I think in two years, this team will in the upper tier of the conference. Where we are now is where Portland State was two years ago and now look at them.

Thanks for clearing up the marital status - sorry if the reference offended you GCM because that wasn't my intention.

My point of the post and the link was simply to offer some factual information versus the negativity offered as this team being the "worst". They certainly aren't world beaters but they are demonstrating competitiveness and improvement. And as Sacto said, they are young.

Let's hope the men can complete the Northern Colorado sweep tomorrow night in the Nest.

I am frustrated they are where they are at, it is really the gym that is the worst in the country. The ladies are trying hard and that is to be commended, especially if they graduate. Thanks for supporting the team, the more we have the more is heard about the need of a new arena.

The biggest thing we can do as fans, alums, etc is to send in money to the university every now and then and earmark to go to the new arena. On all the alumni donor forms, it asks you specifically if you want your donation to go to a specific program or item. Just write "new arena" on it and the university has to earmark for that. $20 here and there can add up (of course we need millions, but that will come with a big donor or corporate support).

I think asking people to send money would be easier to sell if there was an actual fundraising campaign for the arena. Why they havent started that is beyond me.
