PACK THE STADIUM NIGHT?

Sacramento State should have a pack the stadium game this year. I think it a way to see just how many students and fan will come out. It can be against UC DAVIS last game of the year or MONTANA.

By the way I saw a site that predicts the BSC and picks Sac State 3rd. www.calsns.com

Try to do both games, the Montana game will be big, but I know that the "BUZZ" is all about the Causeway Classic. I would try to pack the stands for both games.

I think we will average 13,000 plus with 20,000 for davis and 15,000 for Montana!

I agree that the “farm extension” game will be at or near a capacity crowd. With regard to Montana, I am still convinced that not many people in the Sac area care, or ever will care about Montana and the other BSC schools. So unless Montana travels with 8k fans, I doubt there will be 15k+ fans for the Montana game. As much as I hope more fans go to football games, the BSC schools will never draw 15k+ crowds.

Montana travels very well. It seems like there was over 11,000 there the year before last. If we are playing well at that point it will build our local crowd and might even encourage more Montana fans to make the trip.

The post wasn't to discuss what we could or would average with attendance this year.
It was saying that we should have a pack the stadium game this year. It needs to be pushed by the athletic department and student association for at least 1 game either the Davis game and/or the Montana game. We need to support this program. It has shown true improvment since Sperbeck arrived and it's a shame we can't even half fill the stadium for most games.

I think the pack the stadium game should be Montana. We have never beat them...and came real close last time they were here. Can u imagine finally beating them here in front of a sold out game...

How about every game be pack the stadium night, why does it have to be one game, why not every home game?

Every game should be promoted equally and in a manner that excites students, alumni, and the public. Sure, Montana and ucd are big games, but every game is big. Just think, what if Sac State lost to ISU or UNC this season, those games are just as important and should not be overlooked! Every game should be touted as very important and crucial, whoever promotes the games does a terrible job!

Heck, my buddies and I tried to get tickets to the Cal Poly game and pre-game BBQ and it was hard to get a call back from T.S. at the ticket office! We did get our tickets though :mrgreen: .

I agree, if we were to have a pack the stadium night (day) promotion it should be for the Montana game. A win over Montana in front of 21,000 would be huge and bring many of the newbies back in the future, hopefully on a regular basis.

Montana packs their stadium with "maroon out" blitzes. We should jump on that with a "green out" or "gold out" push.
