Panos and Hansen were terrific

I guess they decided to have Senior Night a week early. They were terrific. Panos 29 and 9. Hansen 6-6 3 pt. It was great to see Hansen in stride, and Bullinger was very aggressive all night and had some huge rebounds, and a lot of scrappy tough plays all night. Hansen allowed Beitzel only 6 pts. He had 25 on us in Greeley.

I have been giving Hansen crap all year, but it was because I was waiting for the performance he gave last night all year. Everytime he hit a 3 last night I jumped out of my seat, I was so happy to see Hansen finally do what we all know he could do. Bullinger played good defense last night, and what more can be said about Panos, wow I was so impressed with our team last night.

I was stoked for Hansen and Panos, they deserved to play that well. The crowd, Joker, a few Northern fans and great WSU team ball made for a really fun game last night.

Great team win. I did not notice anybody who stunk it up last night - everybody played extremely well and with 100% effort the entire game. Of course, Panos and Hansen were incredible on offense - When a team focuses on stopping D-Lill, somebody has to step up. A great part of this team, is that there is more than one person who can score and carry the team. Congratulations!
Now, time to think about some more mashed taters.

btw - Was the site down for a while? I was not able to get online until Monday morning.

Regarding Panos' play, I think UNC head coach Tad Boyle said it best: "I mean, Panos just punked us tonight like we were third graders. ... He manhandled us."

Also, regarding Lillard: Boyle called Damian Lillard's step-back 3-pointer that gave Weber a 73-66 lead with 2:44 left the biggest basket of the game.

“It was a big-time play by a big-time player,” Boyle said. “That's what good players do, and he's the best player in our league.”

Same here, I expect Hansen to shoot a high percentage and as one to also give him crap, I also need to congratulate him on a spectacular performance.
