This one is for you former QB's out there. Does the ball fly further at 5840 ft of elevation than 2352 in Cheney? Guess I'm looking for a better excuse than early 1st game excitement as to why Jordan overthrew a couple of early throws.
Kickers sure looked awesome in this game.

The higher in elevation you go, the less dense the air is. So theoretically objects would have an easier time passing through the atmosphere at a higher altitude. I doubt that has much to do with the overthrows, though.
 
I think this is a interesting question? VA had the same problem when in Bozeman several weeks ago. His touch was off by just one or two feet on the long throws, plus several high balls on the out passes. The elevation was my first thoughts at MSU?
 
It may play a small part, but my guess is it's much more likely that West hasn't thrown with Cooper a lot.
