Completely agree it could become a really big deal and the blocks make for little confidence in the field goal kicking aspect of the offense. As the Eagles go through the playoffs and the competition gets tougher scores will also tighten up and 1 to 3 or four points could make the difference in a game.LDopaPDX said:

I was told Vernon holds because we have a left footed kicker. The other guys would hold if we utilized a right footed kicker. And I agree completely, Vernon Adams does 99 things out of 100 very well... but holding for PATs isn't one of them.

I have never agreed with having the starting QB to be the holder. It should be a back up or other member of the kicking squad. Just one more play that the starting QB is exposed to and not necessary.

Interestingly, Ashton Clark was the holder on the last TD of the game.
