PATs... wtf?

Our inability to convert them with regularity could eventually be a serious problem.
Completely agree it could become a really big deal and the blocks make for little confidence in the field goal kicking aspect of the offense. As the Eagles go through the playoffs and the competition gets tougher scores will also tighten up and 1 to 3 or four points could make the difference in a game.
Coach B likes having VA holding but there seems like more potential downside than upside by having him as holder.

Seems like Vitto or West could be the holder. Seems like we've had quite a few mis-haps with VA holding. Worst part of his game. ;)

+1

I was told Vernon holds because we have a left footed kicker. The other guys would hold if we utilized a right footed kicker. And I agree completely, Vernon Adams does 99 things out of 100 very well... but holding for PATs isn't one of them.

I have never agreed with having the starting QB to be the holder. It should be a back up or other member of the kicking squad. Just one more play that the starting QB is exposed to and not necessary.

Interestingly, Ashton Clark was the holder on the last TD of the game.

Ashton Clark is the definition of a versatile football player. He probably flies the plane to and from games as well.
