We can do this number 10 thing as long as the coaches either get their version of the "pistol", which they ran in spring, to work the way it's supposed to or go back to what worked the last half of the season. To me, now is not the time to introduce a new offense with so many seniors.

I think that explains everything. Geringer is no longer there. The kid from Auburn got invited walk on status in late May...

No question why we are moving to the pistol. 1. Chris Ault his mentor. 2. Plays to our strengths, of mobile QB, quick RBs, quick WRs. You can also run the veer from here too, and gives alot of options. This system tends to chew up the clock and when you are replacing many defensive starters, it might be a good idea to keep them off the field as much as possible. JMU used this to beat VTech.

Does anyone know exactly how the new system will vary from last year’s? From what I recall, the offense ran a lot of misdirection and play action out of the shotgun. How big of a difference will there be between last year’s misdirection plays and the “Pistol” misdirection stuff that will be ran this season?

Great to see the program getting some pre-season respect this year. As has been said before by others, this is definitely the year for them to make some real noise. Last year was solid, but the close losses need to become wins.

Go SAC!

i hope sac really is that good. just means the conf schedule will be that much more exciting. i cant wait to get OOC overwith!! only in football can i say that...i really hate ooc.

your game with davis will be huge if you both are ranked.
