The mourning period is over - time to look towards the future and pick the score for the game this Saturday.
WSU is looking for some revenge from an ugly loss last year at home.

WSU 42 and EWU 21

Our defense cannot hold Taiwan Jones and the rest of the EWU offense down to 21 points, but at least with THE BEAST back, we have a chance to win!

Once again the Wildcat offense will enjoy at least 7 chances to score from the red zone, but this time we will convert five of the seven.

Wildcats win, 34-28.

42-32 Wildcats

EWU hasnt been tested yet and I still think you have the best O in the conf, also I think I heard that you are getting some guys back on D. Hope you shut down that Jones kid and shut some of those eagles up for a while.

GO CATS (Bob and Wild)

For some reason I have the feeling that this is going to be an offensive shootout with Weber winning.

WSU- 65
EWU- 58

I hope Im wrong and the score is something more like 40-21 Weber State

I'm really hoping that weber plays like a bunch of hungry pitbulls on saturday! I sense a lack of emotion from the team every since the heartbreaking loss at csu. It's time to get that edge back!

It might also be time for us stop focusing on how many fans come to the home games and start focusing on what we can do to get some of them to realize that their not at a womens golf tournament. Seriously, the fans so far this year have kinda just shown up and that about it. Last week it almost seemed as if attendance was court ordered or something!

How can we expect the players to give all they've got when they aren't sure if more than 10 people in the stands give a crap? I plan on throwing down a few pregamers next week against Sac State in hopes of developing the courage to try to get some fans off their seat cushion when our defense needs a stop!

go weber
us 31 them 27

1 missed field goal is only complaint on the day...

Kind Sir,

Now would this mean a fourth blocked field goal in 6 games or just missing it wide-right?

I think this will be a great game and a tough battle. I think the final score will be WSU 28 EWU 24, the final score will come with just seconds on the clock as WSU scores a TD to seal the game.

Unless we see the Cats of last year then I believe the score will be WSU 52 EWU 17. We need revenge for our only regular season conference loss last season :D

Let's go with hitting the upright...

Once again Wildkyle is our winner. He predicted 30-10 (actual score 31-13). Do you happen to go to Vegas?

31-13 WSU on top. I think the return of The Beast was a slight factor with 3 sacks, 4 Tackles for Loss and 3 Hurries.....the Defense had a different 'flavor' out on the field. Great team win, still having a lot of problems in the Red Zone.....whew.....one snap and clear.
