Back to back wins for b-ball. There's still some games to be played.....let's hope they can keep this momentum going on the road and pick up some more wins. We could still make the BSC tournament.

2 good wins at home...Need to pull out a win on the road. N. Col. will be tough, but we should be able to win at Idaho State on Saturday. We still have a game at NAU which may be for the 6th seed, but right now, the Eagles are in the conference tourney as the 6th seed, we need to win at least 2 of the final 3 at home and pull out 1 or 2 on the road and they should be in the tourney for sure.

The team did look good in the last two games. Both Games the Eags were low scoring in the first half, 2nd half went crazy in both games at home last week. Last Saturday, Eags scored 53 points in ths 2nd half, very impressive, we had at least 6 players in double figures. Had approximately 10-11- 3 pinters,Even "Big Cliff E" hit from the 3 point line. Maybe he has his license now to shoot from down town

I agree with both of you, if we can have a split or take couple on the road, we will be on our way to the playoff. Yes, NC will be tough, we had an opportunity to take that game, when Dean went among the Oak Trees, and NC Player swatted the ball away. I would have felt better if he had tried a 3 pointer and lost if he had missed it, but to go in amongst big dudes, is crazy, Eags lost by 1or 2 points. So be it, hope they can keep it up on the road. BTW, Portland State cannot go beyond the season, something wrong, what I do not know. So regardless of what PSU does we will move up ahead of them in the standings at the end of the season, should they be ahead of us.Go Eags. Vic

Vic,

You make a good point about PSU not being able to compete in post season play, I had forgotten about that. I believe the reason was due to academics and they also lost a couple scholarships. That makes Easterns road to the postseason much easier. If they can beat Idaho State again, they should be a lock to make the post season this year since they do not have to worry about PSU and Sac. State does not pose a real threat. I will have to meet you one of these days at the Men's basketball games, I do not attend as many as I should, but will try to be there for the 3 remaining home games.

Marceagfan5,Our wish came through. We did beat ISU by 2 points. We lost by I think 10 against UNC, after leading by 8 in the first half. I listened to the UNC game for the first half on Thursday, we didn't get the 1st foul until after 8 minutes in the 1st half, then the calls started coming fast and furious. I try to say we should be able to play against any and all calls, but it become frustrated at times. In the past 10 years I have been attending the games, it seems as if we are the Visitors, instead of the home team. I am not looking for any favors from the Officials calling the games, but they could be consistant with their calls  .

For the money they are making for those calls, I know, I could do better. The old bones wouldn't let me. , so I will continue to sit and bite my tongue, which I have learned to do, since my raising hell doesn't help. I learned what ever I or anyone think of the calls, doesn't change them.

I will be looking forward to meeting you at the games. I sit in LD Section, once you go through the Main Entrance, continue down the steps,I am on the right side on the end. I love that area because of the wooden door behind my back avoiding the cold wall this time of year. Go Eagles. Vic Wallace
