Players Intro?

Last season we had a great video right before our team was annouced with highlights from the previous season. So what do you guys think could be added to our team introductions to get the crowd more into it (because you know our number will go up this year with the return of Dame). Do we Turn the lights off and spotlight the players? Maybe a W lit on the floor with a purple light? Have Waldo ride in on somethin (bike, 4 wheeler) and get the crowd cheerin..

Also joker and the thief is Webers song. It gets everyone out of there seats and into the game when it needs be. I think someone who does our basketball website should throw together a video with everyone going nuts, students, fans, players. Just to show there are still some of us who come to these games and have a damn good time there. Maybe someone watches the video and wants to be apart of that.

Just a thought with this, what do you all think??

Everyone on this board would do a better job of creating atmosphere at the Dee than the dip $hit who is suppose to. If you have an idea send it to the top honcho; Bovee. Maybe with a nudge from his boss he will make some changes.

USU fans always say they out number our fans 4 to 1 but in reality they bring maybe a couple thousand at most though it is impressive out of 9,000. If you sat on the side their students were on they sounded louder but I sat near our student section and I could barely here USU students. :roll:

Only once has Weber fans be "out-done" by the USU crowd. The year Bengalhater hit a Aggie gal, in the face, with one of the mini-balls. That was the year that USU's students were allowed to sit in our section and to make it worse, it was a Cravens team.

Two years ago?!? They weren't louder. Quite the exaggeration. Still being able to hear them should be an embarrassement though. Its up to you kidbowler to fill the student section.

program was rock bottom back then and it was the yr cravens got fired. usu brought maybe 40 students who were in our student section but since there was only 20 of us there was plenty of room. i remember that 30 yr old guy that used to lead the aggie student section every yr was wanting to start a fight after the mini ball incident but none of them were really the fighting types.

that was my senior yr. we finished last in the big sky and had our first ever loss to sac and fist ever home loss to both sac and psu. we didnt qualify for the big sky tourney for the first time after 24 in a row which is the big sky record. coach rahe was hired just weeks after that season ended.

Then after the bull sh*t they pulled last year in logan having our students move out of the seats we paid for (they were the ones we were designated to sit in) because we were standing so the ppl behind us couldnt see and we were too loud. Wtf kind of crap is that? And yes it was an exaggeration but sometimes an exaggeration gets enough attention to do somethin about it.. We have 25,000 students, over double the amount the Dee holds, and no one cares enough to come to the game. Thats what is pathetic. Especially with how good our program is. Its not bad basketball, its damn good.

well unfortunatly weber lets anyone who wants to go to school there come to school reguardless if they actually care about weber state and being a part of it (hence our attendance problem). I guess just continue to try and get student wanting to come to games. and it wouldnt hurt to get our clubs back into tip top shape, i hear the wildcat club isnt what it used to be.. we can do it itll just take some time.

Out of a student body of 25K, I'm pretty sure that there are, at least, 1K students who want to be involved. Involvement is infectious. Once you get it the people around you get it too.

As for the Intro, DJing, and other things...I've heard that some serious changes have been made to improve the atmosphere of the games; starting with new personnel.
