Purely speculative, players that look like they may be EWU quality looking for a home but NOT showing up on the recruit list thread or linked to EWU through NWPreps or other sites. Last year the coaches surprised most of us with some recruits that weren't on the "radar". Let's help them out
Put as much detail as you can find or want:
Jake LaCoste was the Gatorade Offensive Player of the Year, think we have another one of those in Cody McCarthy from Idaho on the defensive side. You can take the time to see how fast he is at the 21 second mark of this video when he turns it up for 60 and a TD. I'd say in the 4.5 range, he doesn't have to go all out very often in these videos once he hits the edge.

Per NW Preps: http://www.northwestprepreport.com/jake-lacoste-could-be-the-top-back
We caught up to Jake LaCoste this week. The 5’10″- 196 lbs freakish athlete says he is looking forward to Track season and mostly hitting the weights and working on his conditioning. He says his 40 time is at a 4.35 hand time which is about a 4.49 laser time. And get this. The kid can jump. A 37″ vertical. That is in the top 1/4 of 1% of all athletes in the Nation. These numbers and his 4.2 shuttle really tell the story of this more then explosive kid and why he is nearly impossible to bring down.
NW Preps says:
Jake LaCoste- 5’10″- 195 Pounds
West Albany HS Running Back
Thomas Tyner set our Oregon Rushing records this season but this Junior is hot on his Tail. The kid was the Gatorade Offensive Player Of The Year and rigthfully so.
Jake went for 3,077 Yards and 38 TDs on the Ground. WOW! The kid is so fast and so good.
There is little chance he does not shine at whatever he does in life and beyond. This event is one that should really help him put his stamp on things. Big time player and talent too!
