Players Transferring

Thought I'd start a list of the players that have decided to transfer as there is info on this front on the Oregon Live board. This coupled with recruit info should help us to get a feel for what the team will look like next season. Here's what has come out so far:

Cody Worthen ---> SMU?
Ryan Reardon ---> Arizona State (walk on)

It's too bad that the team has lost two of it's best players, I thought most of the guys would stay on with a young guy like Burton being hired. On the other hand Worthen is not all that surprising, it seemed like he was close with Glanville.

It sucks indeed. 78 tackles combined last year. :-(

When a coach leaves, expecially a charismatic coach like Glanville, you have to expect a few players to leave. These two were good, but I imagine they'll find SMU and ASU a little different. So it goes. Others will step up.
