PDX, I assume your in Portland. If correct, we have 9 of us headed to Sat. game. Besides alumni attivity, is there any tailgating worth checking out? What's your guess on attendance? Send email if you have other ideas which are outside the scope of this area.LDopaPDX said:EWUeag said:Anyone know if Root will be broadcasting them?
Root only has secondary rights, and they have to be purchased from ESPN. ESPN still holds primary distribution over whichever games they choose. I assume ESPN would sell rights for any game at a price that would exceed the revenue they'd get from ESPN3.

Playing in an empty stadium almost gives it a surreal feeling that makes it hard to get into game-mode. It was even worse before they converted it to a soccer stadium because there used to be a big void of empty space behind the visitors bench. It doesn't feel like a real game.
Now you have done it. You had to go and talk about shopping! I wondered why our four wifes were all fired up about going on an away game. TAX FREE SHOPPING. They even want to go a day early. I guess we can bring Akea meatballs to the game.EdubAlum said:I live in portland also. there is no tailgating as long as the games are downtown. I actually liked the games when they were played at Hillsboro Stadium.
Dopa is spot on, we will have as many fans as portland state does, last time i swear we were like 60% of the people there, which is pretty impressive consider eastern never travels well. i think it's location to Seattle coupled with people coming down to do some tax free shopping helps.
