Sat 11.30 Furman @ Austin Peay

53 % - 47 % o/u 57.5

A couple of interesting matchups today.

Furman is a top running team and Austin Peay is the 6th ranked rushing defense. Kennesaw and Wofford run nearly the same offense, Kennesaw may throw it a little better and they have a great LB corp. Tough on the road today.

Hope all the games are good today.

After the stinker Apple Cup yesterday, just don't care about Georgia v. GT, Bama v. Auburn or Buckeyes v. Michigan. Maybe the Civil War will be worth watching today besides a slate of FCS.

Utah smokes Colorado, ISU v KSU might be fun, LSU should take care of business, Tulane v. SMU could be a barn burner, Badgers v Gophers eh?

In a super Christmas mood today, might just hang lights and get a tree stood up.

Early returns. Monmouth looks good, hard to believe Montana smoked them. Central Conn has some nice athletes Albany is pulling away in this one. Furman v Peay is going to be close if the weather allows them to finish. Redbirds are running all over SEMO early.

FBS football sucks ass so far today.

Owls holding their own at Wofford today. 7-7 at half. Nichols over UND at half 10-7... Some good effort from all the teams. Coin flips at this point.

Winners in RED... KSU played out of it's butt and won with the backup in the 2nd half. SELA won a barn burner by 1. Peay's defense showed up and stifled Furman. Nichols played well enough to win. Redbirds ran it down SEMO's throat.

BSC is set for success and should be 4-0 next Saturday IMO.

Hope you didn't miss out on the Iron Bowl today.. helluva game. The vaunted SEC defenses aren't what they used to be.

Lovely that UND took our spot in the playoffs and absolutely shit the bed. Thanks for that. Get the hell out of our conference already.

On second thought, given they've never beaten Eastern and really haven't even played us that close before, maybe they should stay in the Big Sky.

SoCon had a bad day today. There's a conference that has totally fallen on it's head once App State and GA Southern left.

I tried to watch games involving teams the BSC teams will play. I could see two of our 4 seeded teams lose next Saturday.

One common point in many games WOW there are a lot of lousy receivers out there! Sooo many dropped balls and tips that become an interception.

From watching several of the playoff games (not in their entirety) and attempting to not be overly critical and butt-hurt since we weren't in the mix I've come to this conclusion (mind you an easy one); 1) 5-6 teams shouldn'y have been in the playoffs were the ones who scored 3pts, 6pts, 6pts, 6pts, 14pts, and maybe UNI who only scored 17 pts in their win against crappy San Diego team. Yes, perhaps they just had a bad game, bastards. 2) We would have scored a bunch of points against all 16 of those teams who played yesterday. 3) We prolly would have given up a lotta pts to 1/2-3/4 of those teams who played yesterday. 4) EWU playing anyone of those teams woulda been more entertaing than any one of those games played yesterday (and I watch alotta FCS games). 5) These next rd of games should be a few steps up the ladder.

All fair statements. Personally, was trying to stay away from "what could have been", but I get it. Playoff's 1 out of last 3 years with the talent on this team is nigh on criminal. Consistency could be better, granted there were MANY changes this past off-season. Looking forward to winning the Natty next season. :D
