There are three games Friday and one Sat AM
Northern Iowa plays @ James Madison @ 4 today, JMU
Montana State is hosting Austin Peavy @ 5:00 MSU
The Big Sky will lose at least one team today as Griz travel to Ogden to play the Wildcats
I'm picking the Griz
The next sacrificial lamb for NSDU is Illinois State @ 9:00 am tomorrow. NDSU

clawman...glad you mentioned this, thx. Completely spaced the three games being on today. Now I'm really foward to some football. Placed bets and prepared to lose again this week.

Took Weber+3pts vs Montana, Austin Peay+6.5pts vs MSU and UNI+20pts vs JMU.

Obzerver;
I forgot myself, I thought there was one game today and 3 tomorrow so I was planning on going to Cheney tonight but will miss mighty Multnomah to watch playoff games.

nice thing is we get to watch both football and basketball now!! winner winner chicken dinner clawman..lol

I was impressed with Sac state when they were kicking us around. Today watching MSU, UM and Weber, the Eagles have a ways to go to get back into the thick of things in the Big Sky

When the Eags are right offensively, we’re as good as anyone left. It's amazing how we consistently struggle defensively.

Yikes! Montana by 17 maybe.. Weber can't offense. :lol:

2 out of 3 Obzerver... Nice work. Fell asleep in the 2nd quarter but woke up to see Weber was a winner with just 17 points... Nuts.

MSU looked good against a game Peay. Didn't watch any JMU.

Ultimately, all the offense in the World can’t help us unless we learn to play at least coherent defense. That’s one thing all the teams left in it have in common, they can all put the brakes on the other team. We could do it last year, too. I really have no explanation how the D went from pretty damn good to really damn bad so quickly. The fact we barely line up properly has a lot to do with it.

Many factors, but repeating, our offense was unkind to its counterpart leaving it to defend short fields because the offense didn't move the ball consistently, while the opposing teams moved the ball slowly but surely eating up time and our defensive endurance. Additionally our not moving the ball consistently didn't tax the opposition defense. This is the reason the Eagles faltered in the second half. Time of possession and unconverted first downs tell the tale as we nearly lost our last two games.
