MSU @ JMU- I was not impressed with JMU yesterday. They have a lot of beef on both sides of the ball but it is a lot of FAT! I think the Bobcats can out run the "big" guys
NSDU got away with a thin margin, no touchdown win over Ill State. This may have been a wake up call for the Bison so look out WSU, they may be wanting to make an example of you.

MSU @ NDSU -- NDSU did not look like themselves yesterday and couldn't put the redbirds away. Credit to the defenses. Montana St has A LOT more offense and a good defense. Expect NDSU to get their act back together but this is an upset waiting to happen if they don't

Weber @ JMU -- I still hate Weber's offense. Anything can happen though, JMU hasn't looked like a world beater. It will still be a tough road trip for the Wildcats.

Massey predictions:
https://www.masseyratings.com/cf/fcs/games?dt=20191222

Weber @ JMU 17 - 32 85% confidence level

MSU @ NDSU 14 - 30 87% confidence level

Haven't been impressed with JMU aside from how well they fill out the uniform but Weber has NO offense. Given a couple of TO's, Weber could pull the upset but JMU has more than enough to win at home.

MSU has a shot. Will see what they've got again this week.

Interesting factoid, but this demonstrates defense does, in fact, win championships. This makes it all the more bewildering that Eastern has been really good for a long time while playing very little defense. It also is worth noting that the two years in the last decade that Eastern played solid defense, we played in the national title game. Think about how good we'd have been in 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016 if we played even average defense?

:) Am sure if I went back and looked at the game threads from all those years it show my head exploding... You are preaching to the choir my man. Thinking about what might have been is just fruitless. Let's hope with so many players coming back and a second year at the defensive helm there is some significant improvement. Otherwise.....

The season hasn't even started yet? I'm looking forward to seeing how we handle UW. Lots of talent on the line and we get to see what Barriere can do with a whole season.

Huh? Did someone just step through a time portal. Love the Animal House reference EOTS.

Bison run it down Cats throats first drive. Quite a few missed tackles. Bison look physical.

Even steven 7-7 after a good MSU drive. already in the 2d quarter.

MSU is falling apart... actually playing slower now... stopped running the ball, rovig looks lost and D has slowed down... think this one may be over.

I know we didn’t play like it most of the season, but after watching these semifinal games I have no doubt we are still the top team in the Big Sky. It is my hope that with the coaches in place for another year that we will play up to our talent level.
