I know it's alittle early to talk playoffs, but what record do the viks need to get there.

I know it's alittle early to talk playoffs, but what record do the viks need to get there.

We're already behind the eight ball because of our schedule. Not many FCS teams have 2 sub DI games on their schedule, let alone playoff caliber teams. Assuming we go 2-2 in non-conference, I'm thinking we have to go 7-1 in the conference to make the playoffs. 6-2 would be borderline and we would have to try to convince the committee to let us in, above teams that didn't play any DII teams (or played one). We do benefit by playing Davis and EWU at the end of the season as it looks like both of those teams will be in. If we can somehow spilt those two, we may have a shot, as we will have a win over one of them right before the playoffs.
