Lets go with an OOC (out of conference) only poll. i would rather see a league only poll than both combined. especially if it was a football poll.

our record vs ooc teams:

Utah 13-26 (10-8 in ogden)
@ BYU 10-26 (all 10 in ogden, yikes)
Utah State 25-38 (15-14 in ogden)
@ Cal 0-1 (0-0 at Cal) loss was in 1971 neutral court
@ St. Mary's 0-3 (0-2 at smc)
SUU 21-6 (15-2 in ogden)
San Jose State 1-2 (1-0 in ogden)
UC Irvine 1-0 (0-0 in ogden) win was in 1984 neutral court

Wow this is a tough one, I hate the Aggies the most, so I love it when we beat them, but I cant refuse a last win vs Utah in the Dee.

So in order from most to least...

Utah
Utah State (very very very close 2nd)
St. Mary's
BYU
Cal
SJSU
SUU
UC Irvine

Hands down BYU and Utah State. If there ever was a year that we'll beat BYU at the Marriott it will be this year. Utah State needs to be humbled, much like they were in the 1st half of last year's game. They're lucky Lillard got cold in the second half. With the additions for us and the losses for them, there is no way that they can beat us at our place. Then seldomseensmith can bite me and he'll come spouting off that the Aggies have won 10 of the last 12, then next year it will be 10 of the last 13, and so on. I EXPECT that we will win against Utah anyway. No homer refs this time for the Utes. Last year's game was bogus! You want to explain to me how Utah, who averages 50 points a game came up with 90 something? It's called going to the foul line 2,000 times in a game! What a snoozer that one was.

The reason I pick Cal is because it means more to our program. Its nice to beat the instate schools, but it really doesn't have an effect on recruiting in any way. Everyone knows that UU, YBU, and Cow State are rebuilding this year, and would discount any of those wins. Cal. is a different story. We are getting a lot of high quality players from their neck of the woods. It will be quite intimidating, going against their 8 man squad, but a win would be big.

I agree with oldrunner, I picked Cal because it is a PAC-12 team. If we can win against those big conference teams, especially ones from the areas we get a lot of recruits from will only help our chances of getting other recruits we are aiming for. Ya instate wins are nice cause it is good to say the best in the state but the others are in rebuilding years so what do they mean, nothing.

I know CAL would be a HUGE win for the Cats, but I'm sorry, beating any of the instate teams is beyond satisfying. A win over the Cougs at the Marriott (named after a Weber State graduate) would personally be one of the most gratifying wins in my lifetime.

True, a first ever win there would be awesome
