I think both of the teams we are playing this week are hungry for wins. Their positioning is very much up in the air right now. I like how we match up against PSU better than Eastern. We need to feed the ball down low and dominate the paint. We know that both of these teams are going to zone and press us to death. We need to come out and dominate on Thursday. Hopefully the loss on Saturday woke us up.

BOY THAT NAU TEAM PLAYED LIKE THEY WANTED IT ALL... I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PLAY. THEY MADE WEBER LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF LITTLE GIRLS. IF WE MEET THEM IN THE BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIP AND THEY PLAY THE SAME GAME, MARK MY WORDS, WEBER WILL LOSE!!! WE NEED TO BE READY!!!
 
It seems like with each loss peeps keep saying I hope it woke them up, or hope they use that as motivation. I hope they get it together for the conference tournament and hope Rahe figures out how to design a press breaker that works.

Saturday vs NAU was an off night, yeah we didn't stop anyone. took bad shots and played soft defensively.....and still ended up in overtime. I was at the NAU game in Flagstaff and we played a whole lot different in that win on the road.

I expect the players want to win the whole thing uncontested and will put it all out for a great game on Thursday
 
How can PSU be 2-0 against EWU and 0-2 against MSU? Weird stuff happening in the Sky this season. You'd think it would be the other way around. PSU shouldn't match up at all with EWU and should be even or more athletic than MSU, but I guess not. Weber should beat PSU...they don't match up at all with the Cats. Weber is quicker, more athletic, and our bigs are far better. Gotta keep Bolomboy on the floor. He can't get to cheap fouls like he did on Saturday.
