Something will have to happen. This is not how you build school spirit. I am so sorry for the seniors whose football careers end like this.

Possibly the worse Glanville coached game yet, what does next year bring? The officials didn't help with some bad calls in the fourth quarter, but this loss goes to the coaching staff, not the players.

I hope JG does the decent thing and resigns. Otherwise, PSU is facing an impossible choice of buying him out or enduring another year of him.

Why does anyone, on this board or the other, pretend that PSU could possibly buy him out? That simply will not happen given the lack of funding, athletic or otherwise.

PSU can't buy him out. They don't have the cash. Nobody budgets for the buyout of a coach's contract. The only remote possibility of a buyout would be for a booster that wants him gone bad enough to pony up the money for it.

One of two things will happen next week. Jerry will resign, or he won't resign.

I'd guess he'll play out his last contract year, but hire an Offensive Coordinator.
