Portland State @ Montana Game Thread

Clear skies, to be sunny & 53 in Missoula. Where's the November storm, eh? On the helmets of the Vikings, no?

BTW, it'll be 60 in Bozeman. Anyone still doubt global warming?

I watched most of the first half. Considering the mistakes, it's not going so badly. They still have a chance @ 31-24.

Hey, what's with Glanville blowing off the post-game press conference? Can he only talk big before the game? I respect your team (and Hubel is a GREAT one), but I'm sorry, that's weak.

I don't believe in moral victories, either, except during nightmare seasons like this. Today's game was entertaining, and one of the best all around performances for the team this season. Both offense and defense played reasonably well.

I fully believe at some point those close loses will turn into wins. If this was a Tim Walsh team I think they would have collapsed along time ago. One of the hardest things to do in coaching is to instill that winning attitude.

No idea why he missed it.

Why is that weak?

Why is it weak?? Two reasons:

1. Coaches should be professionals and realize that sportswriters have a job to do. The BSC expects their coaches to attend press conferences.

2. If you're going to talk your mouth off before a particular game (including at the Big Sky meetings over the summer

), you should man-up and talk about the game after you lose.

But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
