Portland State @ Montana - GTS

I think we have a shot this year to get a win in Missoula if we can reduce some of the errors (fumbles and interceptions) on offense. UM was pretty fortunate to get a victory at UC Davis yesterday.

I'm going with:

PSU: 27
UM: 24

Is this to tough a game to early for the Viks? Or are the Griz due for a loss?

PSU - 27
UM - 31

We come close, but fall late.

IF we don't drop punts and kickoffs, IF we don't throw interceptions, IF we leave the punter alone we have a chance on this one. Roper didn't look great. Montana's running game is average at best, passing ditto. So far, anyway. Don't know if we'll match Davis's 400 total yards, but we could if Hubel's on.

PSU 27 Montana 24

Seemingly, although that's the norm since Hauck introduced his offense here. Statistics prove that it's successful, although 2004 in Portland is an example of how it can fail.

Montana just didn't look that good to me versus the Aggies. UC Davis lost the game rather than Montana winning it. I think every team has a better shot at Montana this year versus most years. But you still need to play perfect football to have a chance.

We're looking God-awful... as usual.

"Bobbie Ball". But, it works.

It's said that on paper this is the best Griz team ever. Hope we're warmed up by Saturday!
