SMU is 0-2 and not looking good in those games.

I'd call for a win if we were to have Phil...

Most certainly a game we can win.

The SMU Tournament is over - we beat UC-Riverside this afternoon 69-58. That leaves us at 3-1, not bad at all.

Too bad the Viks didn't beat the host team (SMU) on Friday, but a very good weekend performance, considering Phil Nelson is out of action:

I'll take 3-1.

I had to travel for work, so I didn't get to hear a minute of the tourney.

What's the consensus on our play so far? I read the write up on the loss. Didn't sound so good...

I think, Marty, ity's just a matter of us getting used to this new team. We're uncertain about them, and they're uncertain about themselves. Taspscott, lozeau and Odum didn't play last year; this year Tap and Lo are starting, looks like, and Odum is play8ng long minutes off the bench. They're still getting used to each other. I don't know what happened in the SMU game. SMU beats us and loses to the other two teams; we beat the other two and lose to SMU? Just one of those games, I guess. It's still early days. No clear leader has emerged yet....
