This was the first significant game I was at this season and the Eagles did not disappoint. I was very impressed with the defense, energy level, and overall team performance. IMO this team will be in the upper echelon of the Big Sky this season.
A shocking stat from last nights game was the Eagles shot 25-27 from the charity stripe, 92.6%! WOW

I was also at this game and the eags look impressive. Portland St. is a legit team too. PSU has beaten Portland, Stanford, killed the Cal Golden Bears by 25, Utah St, Loyala MM, Santa Clara, Lost to Butler by 2, Lost to Oregon by 11, was beating Duke at halftime but ended up losing. They were an RPI Top 50 team last week. The eags were tested in this one, but ended up passing the test in a big way. Love the product we are putting out on the floor. Lots of depth too. We have some guys injured and the guys filling in for them are getting the job done. Blizzard is the MVP of the league so far.

go eags!

The team has tons of potential, but that out of conference schedule was AWFUL. I hope they can put a strong run together and get all of their W's at home like last year.
