How about Robin Pflugrad? He has a great resume, is a Portland State graduate and was let go by UO when Chip Kelly took over the program.

Not sure if we have the talent at RB to run his system. But hey you never know! Jerry's options are limited, there aren't a ton of options for coaches in June.
 
I think this would be a great idea. He's a PSU alum. Robin would be familiar with the Run & Shoot since he played it in college. He'd be able to bring his son Aaron along. Plus we would have a successor to Glanville in place.
 
The more I think about this, the more I think we should lobby Glanville to do this. I've already sent him an email suggesting he consider Pflugrad. Hopefully some others on this board will too.

This makes sense on so many levels:

1. PSU grad
2. Played in the Run and Shoot.
3. Has experience in the Big Sky and Pac 10.
4. Son is looking for a place to play.
5. We need a successor to Glanville since he won't be around much longer.
6. Can introduce changes into the offense.
7. Knows recruiting.
 
Agreed but as far as I know, he doesn't currently have a job and secondly we could suggest that the head coaching position would be open in a couple of years or Glanville could offer him an assistant head coaching position.

Or maybe I'm barking at the moon.
