I just got back home from the game.. It was a tough one to watch. Offense never got going and the officials were just horrible. They called two quick ones on Dame near the end, bad calls.. It was bad both ways though.. The younger ref wearing the extra small shirt was by far the worst. While driving home, I replayed over the last 2 minutes of the game 100x now. I thought of a few things that may have changed the outcome. Obviously Bull hitting his two free throws would have been nice. Trez needed that jumper to fall too. In hind sight, it might have been better if we didn't get that offensive rebound with 45 seconds left, (we probably would have had the last shot to win or lose it). Now, if Dame hits that 3-pointer, game over, a friend of mine mentioned that Arky said he air balled it, but it got rim, just barely, but it did. Now I have seen in the past, coaches foul with only the 15 seconds left when ISU got the missed shot. I wish that we would have put them at the line, make them tie it up there. If they make both, worst case outcome is OT and we would have then had the last shot. It kinda makes you wonder, but I assume the right thing to do, is let them shoot to win or lose it. As soon as number 11 shot the ball, I knew it was in. The guy was feeling it all night... Too bad that Lillard had to put up with the "over-rated" chant... Hated that.. Interesting now that ISU has a top 100 rip win, and Weber State doesn't... :x They technically have a better win on the year than we do... Lame... The timing of this game stinks, I hope that the players, Lillard included, come out pissed off the remainder of the season. You could see the anger in Dames eyes as he walked off the floor after the buzzer beater...
