power running back

Who would best be categorized as a power running back on the Eagles roster. The closest I can think of is Cody Hecker.
Zack Wimberly has been in situations to carry the ball a few times and he is definately a power guy but is listed as tight end.
The t-birds had trouble stopping the Cal Poly power rush in their game.

The power game is not really our style. I think Hecker has put himself into the position of short yardage back now, and Wimberly gets into that fullback role when needed.

I think you are all forgetting about Conner Baumann, 6'2 220 H-Back.
He is listed as tight end.

He is, but they've also lined him up at Fullback quite a few times this year. He was a RB in HS.

I thought the last game they converted him to defensive end to help with d-lineman deficits.

Jalen Moore may not have the physique of a "power back" but he sure played the role well today.

Dunno about that, roughly 200 lbs and has a low center of gravity, big lower body, and the dude just doesn't go down. Decent break-away speed as we saw on his long TD against SHSU, although perhaps not as fast as Brown and definitely not faster than Forte...(who is?)

Both RB's looked pretty good today, but I was a little more impressed with Moore, to be honest. Or at least his ability to pick up 3-4 yards consistently. Most of Mario's yards came off of that long run.

Of the 4, Jalen is definitely the only one I'd consider a "power" RB.

I think, from what I have heard, that Mario is faster than Forte. It's just that Forte wins in every other category. Size, strength, utilizing blocks, refusing to go down, breaking tackles, and ball handling.

Mario has outside speed, and can hit a hole up the middle hard! Moore runs like Forte, consistent and productive.

I would say quincy is more a scat back, Jalen more of a hard runner, and Mario Brown is somewhere in between the two. jalen is also probably the man for the next two years as we lose Mario, Quincy, and Cody Hecker this year to graduation.
