"Practice Facility....We Talkin' Bout PRACTICE Facility?"

Yes, the University of Utah is talking about a brand, new $24 M PRACTICE facility for men's and women's basketball. Oh, and a $12 M renovation of the Huntsman Center, where they actually play their games, too. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what competing in the PAC-12 is all about.

Brad:

When ISU was at Utah State last Friday, right next to the Spectrum they are halfway through a brand new facility that will have a new practice court for the basketball teams and all basketball offices will be moved into it.

Don't know how much it's costing.

I think rather than the Pac-12, or Mountain West, it has more to do with the emphasis the schools put into their sports programs.

Utah is the last school in the PAC-12 to build a separate basketball practice facility.A good deal of the funding is private donors, but I would bet a large share of it is PAC12 TV money
