Practices

Got a chance to stop by and see practice Saturday morning for a couple hours. The team looked very fired up and focused. There was nothing but hustling between drills and lots of high energy for great hits and great plays on 7 on 7 or 11 on 11 sets. Good to see Vic enjoying the festivities, along with his daughter. Met some great fan supporters in Tom, Floyd, and Paul, and got a chance to meet the team pastor, Jason. Had a great time watching multiple drills, talking to coaches, and some of the players, all of whom were very respectful. Unfortunately wasn't able to stop by for the 3pm practice this afternoon heading back to the west side. Everyone should try to get by and check out one of the practices in the next few weeks. Very impressive to see the work ethic of these young men, and the dedication they have.
Definitely got my juices flowin'.....19 days baby!!!!!

GO EAGS!!

loloman,
Was nice to see you and your wife at the practice also. You didn't miss the 3pm practice, there was none. Monday was a 2 day practice, we were at the 3 pm, finished about 5 pm. As usual, this team is going to represent us in outstanding fashion. I am really impressed with those recruits. We will be represented to the utmost. I am worried of the ankle turns from that grass area, here is hoping they practices will soon move to the Red Turf.

Glad to see Kaufman, and former WSU QB Jeff Toole making connections. They both represented their respective Universities, with dignity. Kauf even dunked the ball after his TD :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Here is hoping some of you make a few of the practices. The Defense is going to shine, "those are some bad mother,  shut your mouth" ;) Got to go. Vic Wallace Go Eagles!!!!!

To All,
I love our Defense, Coach Sawyer/Fetter/Cherokee, are going to be on Cloud #9, the talent is so damn great, they may not be able to utilize them all this year. A few names to remember, and all new Players. Isaac Anderson DB, Prosser, HS, (reminds me of a damn PITBULL) always where the ball is located, and love to hit. Cameron Babcock LB, Shadle Park High, not afraid to hit and tackle, Jake Gall, LB, Cle Elum High, loves being in the middle, loves hitting, same for Albert Havaili, LB, Federal Way High, John Kreifles, LB, Modesto Downey High, another Pittbul (possible another JC Sheritt) this dude loves to hit and tackles very hard, Andre Lino, DL, Bishop Blanchett High, Seattle, WA. Moe Roberts, DB, Cashmere High, Matthew Sommer, West Salem High,
Dude is very strong on DL, he fill out the uniform, and loves mixing it up, D'Lando Tucker, DB, Federal Way High, sneaky, and loves hitting. As you can see all are new comers, I try to look at different Players at practices, once you've seen the intensity they play with, you quit focusing on a few Players, and look at the ones that catches your eyes. W/O giving away anything about our team, I am very much impressed with the new comers. Coach Baldwin and his Coaches have done an "OUTSTANDING) job replenishing our Defensive Players, you are going to "LOVE" them. Go Eagles.!!!!! ps, heard they will be off the grass on to the Turf on Monday, glad for that. With these filling with our Old Timers Defensive Players, that team will surprise everyone, just hold the injuries. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: for our team and Coaches.

Hey Vic,
Thanks for the update and info. Who is doing Nate's job of keeping the guys in shape to prevent injuries? Speaking of injuries, have there been any?
Hope to see you at the scrimmage on Saturday.

clawman,
Glad to hear from you. Amiere (sp) is working with the team now. Yes we do have some nagging injuries, mostly ankles from the field. Zach Chapman, has a broken toe, happened last Saturday, Quincy Forte, RB, hamstring, mostly all players about 4 with ankle injuries. That is why I am glad they will be off the Grass Field Monday. Of course I will be at the scrimmage on Saturday, 0945am. I will be there early so I can see the Players coming out.
Keep your eyes on #44 John Kriefels, LB, he was wearing #43 in practice, #36 Isaac Anderson, DB, # 54 Albert Havili, LB, #43 Jake Gall, LB, #94 Matthew Sommer, DL. On Offense Wide receivers #13 Nic Sblendorio, #13 Marcel Morris, #11 Kendrick Bourne, QB #16 Conner Richardson, South Paw. Of course these are all
Recruits, the regulars and damn good regulars will be there working with the Recruits, like Cody McCarthy, Tevin McDonald, Dylan Zylstra, Evan Day, can keep on going, will let you and every one that comes out form their own feelings about the team. Will be at practice tomorrow at the 2nd practice, 3pm. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic

To All,
Practice was held on the "Red Turf yesterday" @ 3pm, concluded @ 5pm. Was very glad for that, scrimmage will be on Red Turf Saturday @ 9:45am, would like to see a great turnout. I will be there along with my Daughter. Have seen John Tonani at every practice since he had his hip surgery. He is walking better with one crutch. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

The coaches let the boys take the morning off, which I know for my son, meant sleeping his full 12 hrs. They also have the night off, so they must be working hard to earn some time off for good behavior.

Just saw that both Bronson and Forte might miss the OSU game due to injuries. That sucks.

WTF!?

It was in Jim's report the other day. I believe one has an ankle and the other a calf or knee injury IIRC. Don't think it's a definite for either, maybe a travel day decision.
