Eags should rock PSU's world this Friday. No concerns over a Friday night game, should have a Championship feel in intensity, execution and outcome after the bye week. This one is for the BSC Title.

If D gives up more than 17, they are sleep walking through it.

As much as I would be surprised if Baldwin runs up the score I hope he does enough to impress the committee so the Eagles are seeded in the top 4.

Given how Portland State seems to play us so tough, I think this will be closer than expected, but predict EWU 38, PSU 28

On paper, it looks like this should be a breeze...just like last year looked like it should've been a walk in the park at home. As much as some of us fans may not view this as a rivalry game, it appears PSU does in a big way, and they tend to play up for this game. They would love to knock us out of being Big Sky champions, and taking us out of seed consideration. This game IS their season. Nothing else matters, and they won't be holding anything back. We play understanding the season continues on. They will play like this is the last game they will ever play (which it will be for some of them!)

I wish we could just throttle them, and make a statement about a seed. But history tells a different story. Last year, they won four Division 1 games, and took us absolutely to the wire! The year before, they only had two Division 1 wins, and we beat them by a mere seven points. You know how good our team was each of those years, and that they should have had no business being on the same field as us. In 2011, they ended any hopes we had of making the playoffs. They were OK then, winning five of their nine Division 1 games. But we still should have won that game and made the playoffs.

Point is, this is one of those games were records and past performance don't seem to be as strong of indicators as to how the game is going to go. I would like to see a blowout, but expect an interesting, tense, and far too dramatic game to end the season, with EWU once again frustratingly winning by one score! (Now, I just hope in predicting this, we will actually do the opposite, and post our biggest blowout of the season!)

PSU lost their big WR that killed us last year....We are running on all cylinders...

EWU 52
PSU 17 (in garbage time.)

I see no way this isn't a blowout.
EWU - 52
PSU - 20
On paper. Last year we should've blown them out too. And I may be wrong, but it seems we always come out flat after a bye. I think that if we blow them out this year, we make it back to the NC. We need to have that go for the throat mentality, instead of constantly playing down to the competition, which we had last year and seemed to have this year, for the most part.

So with that said, this game will either be 49-45 Eagles, or 56-20 Eagles.

Feeling this as well. History says this one could be close, but didn't want to vacillate so going with the outcome as it should be... A complete game on both sides of the ball and a championship swagger :-).

Montana is going to fold like a cheap suit. Could care less if this impacts how many BSC teams make it into the playoff's, pretty mediocre season throughout the league for one reason or another. Eags are the cream of the crop.

I don't get why people keep saying "PSU plays us tough". They played us tough two years in a row. 2012 doesn't even really count, because it was an insanely muddy slop fest.

How about in 2009 when we beat them 47-10? Or 2010 when they got slammed 50-17? PSU is in full on program meltdown stage, and EWU is going to straight up curb stomp them.

I'm picking EWU at 49 and PSU at 17
