Prediction Thread WK 12 EWU v PSU

Come on folks, let's get em rolling. Maybe some massive pessimism might work. I plan on being there for possibly Kupp's last game and fully expect a record setting effort.

I also can't wait to see Reilley rise to the challenge, we will have 3 great years with him.

Ewu comes back with a statement heart attack game, 54-45 winning with a pick 6 on a driving PSU team as time expires, a la the Griz at that beautiful game in 2010.

Forecast for 35 degrees and clear. Frosty. Don't have the heart for this one... Eags staying home for the playoff's. Something is broken and a sorry loss to Montana isn't going to fix it.

PSU all over the Eags 42 - 28

Rest of the BigSky:

SUU over NAU for the conference championship
Montana crushes MSU
CP over UND
Sac St beats UC Davis
Weber holds place against ISU
Abilene C beats UNC

I keep picking Eastern and I keep looking like an idiot.

Portland State 55 Eastern 20

I actually think this is a winnable game, but I'm trying to generate some luck by changing my pick for the week. Plus, it is a real possibility that the character we've seen from the team the last couple of weeks is just who we are.

Realistically speaking, we probably lose this one. But you never know. I'm going with the good guys.

O-Line comes out fired up for their last game on the inferno and busts open some big holes for our backs, taking the pressure off of our young QB. The defense gets 2 TO's. Eags win.

EWU-38
PSU-35

38-37 EAGS. :D

I actually have no idea what to expect today. I am hoping that this team shows some passion with a playoff spot on the line, possible the Senior's last collegiate game, and most likely Cooper's.

We may not get far into the playoffs even with a win today, but the experience is good going forward.

Playoff experience would definitely be good for our younger players. Trying to be positive here. If we lose today, it'd be the first time in several years that the coaching staff gets a head start on recruiting.
