Despite Larry and Paul doing a great job on the radio, it was difficult to understand exactly what happened in the second half last week. So, flying a little blinder than normal. Who can predict how anything plays out after the season so far. Thought the defense played well until they had to defend a short field 3 times in a row in the early second half. It has to be draining for everyone involved to watch the wind come out of the sails.

NAU always has some talent that transfers from FBS and Cookus doesn't suck does he? Going to go with Eags at home but nothing would surprise at this point.

I think we’re about 4 TDs better at home than on the road. I’ll pick Eastern to suddenly look good this weekend, before another collapse the second we leave Cheney.

However, if NAU can stay close to even at halftime, the Eags are in bad shape. For whatever reason, we have a habit of closing up shop after taking a few hits.

Looking at NAU they can score points(in bunches) and give them up(in bunches). Ergo there should be a bunch of points scored in this game and weather looks to be nice. EWU 45 vs NAU 37

Clawman, funny as I was just looking at that stat and others. Here's an interesting one and my question is who wins the battle EB3 vs Cookus this Sat.? Watched the NAU vs PSU entire game and PSU got screwed at the end resulting in a NAU win. Cookus is doggone good and EB# is at home. FCS rankings;

Has Cookus ever beaten the Eags? Is it the year The Fink beats The Stomach?
If the Eags have to score 42 without 3 TO's from the defense, they are in trouble..

This isnt like the Eastern teams we known over the past 10 yrs, never have we not won the 4th qr, for whatever reason we are done at half, very disappointed this year with stadium up and calling. You knew at some point Eastern would falter but never did I expect this kind of performance!! Some soul searching is come due and agree with the others that we could easily finish out 1-3
