Statistically, these two teams are pretty similar on defense... Offensively, Eagles have an edge.
Believe Eastern's D will need to get at least 2 TO's for this game to move from the coin flip column. Know when they are attacking aggressively, there is an opportunity for the Bengals to complete quick passes in the middle or bust a big run. It's not even a consideration for me, the TO's are worth it and have to believe the offense will match score for score until the hammer blow is delivered... just like last week.
Question remains for me if the OC has gotten religion and allows the weapons on this team to subjugate what looks to be a weaker opponent on the road. What if Troy Taylor or Beau still ran the offense? Would Eastern be 4-5?
Which WR is going to have a big game? Boston has all but disappeared in the offense. Would love to see him have a big game. I'm a Limu-Jones guy, he is difficult to tackle and catches in traffic, over the shoulder, in the middle and with that long stride, hard to catch in the open field. Overall the WR's have "played into shape".
I like Eastern in this one and have no way to factor in the road malaise that seems to hang over the team since the Jax St game.
Eagles 52 ISU 41
Massey has it Eag's 42 Bengals 37 at 66% likelihood....
