PREDICTIONS CRAPSHOOT EWU 56 @ FORDHAM 21

Chase is a special player 5'9" 210 but he plays behind a smaller than average line. Looking over the Fordham roster, a lot of their players came out of private high schools (think Gonzaga Prep), so expect them to think like winners. Given the obvious talent gap this one shouldn't be close. Weather mid 70's and potential for rain. Game time is 10 am pst start which totally sucks (who the f*** agrees to that??)

Assuming the coaches can find an identity, players decide to play fearlessly and there are no TO's....

Putting a foot in the ground... No more

According to Twitter, Edmonds is listed as questionable due to an injury early in last week's game. His backup also left the game in an air cast, so we may be dealing with their third string RB. Fordham is nothing like the competition we've seen the first two weeks, so I'm anticipating a big win this weekend, if the guys actually show up to compete like they can. The O-Line appears to be shifting around as well (with Taylor at LT) according to the new depth chart, so that's a positive.

Gage's decisions need to be better and more accurate this weekend. I anticipate a big game from him as we introduce Fordham to Johnny Edwards IV. He'll stretch the field and establish a name for himself, which will open up some holes for the backs. In the end, it will be a good game for the Eags.

Good info. Hit the twitter but didn't pick this tidbit up.

where can you find the weekly depth chart? what other changes were there?

It's on goeags.com, under football and then within the team and statistics header. You'll see an updated depth chart vs Fordham. It's been updated each week, as EWU isn't releasing weekly injury reports this year. However, Kupp has been listed atop his LB spot each week, so...

Jay-Tee is also still at the top along with Webster (DB), so either their injuries weren't that bad, or we can't rely on the depth chart as a tool for who's playing.

However, at WR, Eagle or Edwards IV are both in Grady's place at WR now and the O-Line is switched around as well.

Head Coach Breiner and main Assistant Bowes

Because these are the two main coaches for Fordham; EWU wins 42-17

Based on what I've heard, the reason Jay-Tee, Webster & Kupp are all listed on top is because none of them sustained long term injuries. They were all just banged up and are eligible to play as soon as they feel ready to get out there and play.

Hi EWU Fans. Fordham is excited to host you and a Top FCS program like EWU this weekend. Fordham is located in the Bronx, NY. Outside the campus gates, its an urban environment not the safest area but inside its beautifully landscaped with old stone buildings. The stadium, if you can call it that, is only one sided seating ~ 8000k (we share field with baseball ). You can view the game on patriotleague.org. Fordham plays well @ home but we rarely see a Top 10 FCS program @ home. Villanova occasionally. The game itself - we play a fast paced high tempo offense. I believe our skill position players RB QB WR and DB's we'll be equally talented. I think a definite advantage you'll have is in the trenches. When we go to FCS playoffs -- its evident we get outplayed on the OL/DL and Saturday probably be the same . It stinks RB Chase Edmonds is injured and in a way for you too that cant see first hand what a good player he is. Our Defense has a new DC - but our D is suspect (the weak link) and it has been that way the last 5 years. I expect a high scoring game. Wouldn't surprise me if you scored 40. However. if we play well we may put up 30 ourselves .. In the end - I think you'll be too much for us -- wear us down. If you have any other questions about Fordham/team/game or comments Ill try and come back to check on board.

Good info Fordham17...thanks, So, patriotleague.org is link to watch the game..excellent. It should be a most entertaining game!

Trust me, Eastern fans feel your pain as it relates to a shitty stadium.

Pretty sure this game is going to be live broadcasted on twitter if I remember reading that correct. I'll try and find the link.

You're correct about Twitter (@WatchStadium), but it will also be on WatchStadium.com and the Stadium channel, which is broadcast on PlutoTV (ch. 207). I prefer the last option as I can connect through my Roku and watch on the TV pretty easily.

Thanks for posting this. I could not find anything about any way to view accept through the league webcast. Happy to hear about PlutoTV, and the channel listed.

Can't find game on our league website (Big Sky)...you mean on Fordhams website patriotleague.org ?
*I listen to Larry and Paul anyway..even if I'm watching and the timing is off.

Seems there are several options to view. Here are the details on how to watch patriotleague.org. It says it is free.

Had a dream we lined up with Byus or Belk at FB and let our OL advantage work for several hundred yards on the ground. McPherson and Pierce have the most patience in the hole and Custer explodes for some large runs off tackle. Not sexy to some but a great way to take pressure off WR's, QB and just let the offense work out some frustration..
