Looking at Sac State at 2 there. They didn’t face Eastern or MSU last year, though they did catch Montana in Missoula during the Griz’ slump. Ended up one and done in the playoffs and thus several pundits suspect them to be a paper tiger. Still not playing Montana State this year, and they get the Griz in the bleacher feature, but their game in Cheney will tell a story.

So, Portland State. Quarterback?

The main issue. I like what Chachere has shown so far and I think we'll be fine once he gets game confidence. I wish we could've got a game against an FCS opponent before the Montana game to give him the confidence at the FCS level. I hope the two outings against the FBS won't hurt his psyche too much. I'm also hoping we come out of those FBS games rather healthy as we will need an intact team when we go to Missoula.
