Weber was picked 4th in the coaches poll and 3rd in the media poll at the BSC BB get together. I would think that is about right after losing a great one to the NBA, in Dillon Jones. You don't really replace a player like that.
The biggest question mark we have, as a team, is how to make up for his outstanding rebounding. I feel that scoring is not the issue at all. We have plenty of guys who can score the ball. In fact, with the shooters we have added and those returning, we may actually be a better shooting team. Rebounding is the issue, as I see it. I don't think that burden can be put on any one player. It will have to be a shared thing.
We have 5 seniors on this team and they can all play significant roles. We also have a lot of freshmen and sophomores who will have to step up and play significant roles. We should know by the end of December if we have a team that will contend for a championship.
All I know for certain is that it is going to be fun to watch it all unfold.
