That seems about right. Weber lost 4 seniors from last years team, including three starters, two of which were all-conference performers and also, one of the two, the league MVP. There are a lot of unknowns from this years team. Being 140 is a testament to Rahe's ability to reload on talent. Usually, in a situation like this season, the Cats would be in the 170s or higher. As for the Utes and the Cougs, there are reasons why they are as high as they are. Returning starters and how much of an effect they had on their respective clubs. At the U, they have Delon Wright and Jordan Loveridge back. Both could end up being all PAC-12 players. At the Y, they have Haws, Collingsworth, Winder, and Fischer. Weber has two starters and two major role players back, but comparably, right now, aren't on the same level as what the teams to the south have. Does this mean Weber would/will lose to either? Personally, I think Weber takes the Y behind the woodshed and totally beats them this year. As for the U, we all know that until they get enough guts to play the Cats they don't deserve to be involved in any discussions. To me they are cowards lead by the the cravenly scarecrow LK.

Win a few games starting with @USU and the worthless, early rankings will adjust accordingly. Weber as much as anyone has to earn it. Oh, and Tal, I'd take a simple 3OT win over BYU at home-- in-state is not an area I've been thrilled with in the Rahe era. That goes for other coaches too, so everyone need not start asking if I'd rather still have Coach X; the answer is no, unless you bring Abeglan into the convo then it's more difficult to answer.

Indeed, nothing to be thrilled with! Is Rahe the only coach to have never beaten BYU during the years they have played each other?
