With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

According to a story on WSU's 125th anniversary in the Substandard Examiner:

"In 1979, Weber State changed its mascot from Waldo Wildcat to Primo Peacock. The change, thankfully, only lasted a year."

Does anyone remember the year of Primo the Peacock? I was only 2 years old so I don't remember this. But it sounds pretty funny. I would love to see pictures of Primo the Peacock if anyone has pictures. I have an idea. Let's bring back Primo the Peacock and make SATOG wear the costume.

Wow, I sure don't remember that. I was fairly young but a fully zealous fan. That would have been McCarthy's kids, right? I do not remember any Peacocks, Peahens, or pea pods.

Sounds a lot like an April 1st sort of thing.

I've been a fan since 1969 and I sure don't remember anything like that. Maybe it was just for the Track and Field season.

I remember the peacock, but it was just a promotional fad and was not intented to replace Waldo. Someone should ask Rob Alexander for his recollection.

WOW! Where did you get that from? Glad we didn't stick with it. Now we have proof and it is not just an interesting folk lore story .

I think it would fit SATOG perfectly and surely muffle the sound a little.

Waldo!! That is hilarious! Where did you find that picture??

Did you notice on Primo's jersey that, I think, it says "Wildcats?"

The suit has to be somewhere on campus. Why not bring it out for Mascot Night?
