The last 3 seasons we have played 28-30 regular season games.

I bet there will be at least one game before the Utah game. I wouldn't doubt if it is some beat though. I'd like to play Dixie (DII) or Westminster (NAIA).

I heard that Seattle reneged on the contract, and refused to come to Weber this year. Doosh BAGS!!

I'd like to play Idaho, Nevada, or a WCC at home.

Weber (as do many teams) have openings posted on BasketballTravelers.com. Lots of teams looking for games especially out of conference and early season.

I hear that Weber has repeatedly asked Colorado State to do a home/away but there is no interest at CSU ??
Fear the Dee and the 'Cats!

CSU does fear us. The football team should have beaten them last season, and they know that the basketball team beat Northern Colorado who beat them in preseason play last year. So, there is no way in HEEEEEELL that they play us at the DEE anytime soon :!:

N. Mexico, S.Diego St, and UNLV need to grow some and come face us here, we've played at thier houses now its time for them to return the favor.

We should try to get Nevada or Gonzaga to do a home and home with us.

Reasons CSU won't play us:

1. Weber is 5-1 all-time vs Colorado State
2. We rarely lose at the Dee. Our home record of 544-115 (83%) in Ogden is quite impressive spanning almost 50 years.
3. We have a winning record against their conference foes BYU and Utah at the Dee.
4. We regularly make it to the post season; they never do.
5. We are a smaller conference so it looks bad when we destroy them.
6. Our last game against CSU was in 2002 on a neutral court which we won.
7. They have lost 2 of last 3 vs UNC a team we are 6-2 against and 4-0 at home.

Reasons they should play us:

1. They are close by
2. They've been playing Big Sky teams lately.
3. They are 4-3 vs the 'Sky in the last 3 seasons.

And this is the exact same story for every Mtn West and WAC team. Really the Big West and WCC should be playing us a lot.

I wish...

Nevada wasn't too pleased after their last trip to Ogden losing to us in 2003. That year they made it to the NIT too.

There is no way Gonzaga will come to the Dee. That would be a huge game for us. They have one win in the Dee all-time and sadly they were in our conference for 7 years. We are 29-14 against them overall so our home record has to be something like 21-1 vs the Zags. Our record vs Idaho is about the same. One win for the Vandals at the Dee and we've played them overall 73 times. lol

You would think teams like CSU, Nevada, UNLV, Wyoming, Boise and Idaho would play here just for the reason how close we are, its chicken S!#T to not come here because your affraid to lose, what does that say about you? I thought that was only something the Montana Grizzlies football team did. UNLV played at SUU Why not play here?

I'd love to see New Mexico at the DEE!! Buts lets all be honest, thats not going to happen. For some reason, they think they are superior to everyone else. Forget about the fact that they play 12 preseason home games against, mostly, poor competition every season. While teams like Weber have to play the majority of their preseason games on the road. I'm just happy that I can travel to some of them (SUU, USU, and Utah).

Very interesting link.....I noticed Wyo, CSU, San Diego, Boise, Idaho, and AFA are all looking for home-and-home series. We've had H and H with Wyoming, USD, and BSU in the past. Gonzaga has an offer for two games in Spokane, and then one game away. We might be able to swing a 2 for 1 with the Zags. It would be frustrating to read about these open dates only to find Montana Tech back on the schedule.
