Promoting "The Red Zone"

With all of these sold out game it seems some of those fans would be interested in "The Red Zone" if they knew about it.
A banner on the fence at games?
A listing of the web site in the program?
Other ideas that would not really cost a lot but get exposure?
It seem the athletic dept would be in favor as it only promotes their programs.
Any ideas?

Well Larry Weir could drop a suggestion in a time or 2 :-) I know he trolls here from time to time and maybe if Jim from the Spokesman could add it to one of his Links during his weekly briefs that might be helpful.
Also maybe set up a twitter account or if you have a account attach a link to the EWU website for one of their posts.

A while back I inquired about getting a link to the forum added to GoEags.com, and surprisingly they did add a link. I say surprisingly because although this site/forum is dedicated to the discussion and promotion of EWU Athletics, it is not officially run or sponsored by the University as forums contain opinions and views that the University may not agree with or want to represent them.

TL;DR - The University won't promote the forum due to liability and PR reasons. As for a banner, it would have to be a fan created banner and couldn't be permanently affixed to any fencing or structure for the same reasons.

I'd buy the banner if it could be hung in plain view.

That's a great idea. I'd bet more people would sign up to this forum if they knew about it.

But...but...this is OUR forum! ;)

Hopefully we get an influx...Screamin' and Ranger need more to do while sitting at their desks at work!

Another idea would be to buy time on the broadcast . .drop ins. Keeps it out of the university's hands and they have zero liability. Not sure how much that it would cost.

Hey, I've got enough shit to do at work!

Actually, as I post this, there are 11 people online. Pretty cool to see the forum growing. :thumb:

This. I actually can't have it up while at work, and wouldn't have much time to look let alone post I'm usually so busy. The forum has definitely grown a ton since the 2010 season... great to see.
