• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

There are about three plays from yesterday that keep swirling around in my head, so I need to distract myself.

Does anyone have any info on the props this year? I seem to remember something about a steal we got from Cal at RB, but can't remember his name. I was just wondering if anyone knew more about some of those guys and if they were able to hang tough through their first quarter.

*sigh* go hawks

I don't know if the school is allowed to report on the status of props, but our resident liaison, Vic, reported earlier that the two 48s from the class of '13, Martin and DB Keonte White 6-4 185, both from California, were in school fall quarter. Vic, will hopefully, let us know if they are back for winter quarter, and the important question is if they will be here and eligible for fall camp in August.

Also kicker, Roldan Alcabendas, Portland, who signed last February, but was injured during the summer playing soccer and didn't turn out this year, is in school. Will he be out this spring to compete with redshirt freshman, Christian Fanning, to replace senior Kevin Miller?

EWU can't comment on the academic status of Props. That said, I have heard DJ Martin is in school. Whether he sees the field next year is another story, and I have no idea. I hope so...we'll be loaded at RB next season like we were this year.

Can props work with training staff or are they completely off limits from University athletic facilities and all staff?

Props are Not part of the team and CANNOT work out with them, but it does count as their redshirt year! So they have 4 years to play 4.

Spoeagle, Soccer Kicker, Roldan Alcabendas, I did see him on the field shagging balls with the team a few weeks before the end of our season. He wasn't even limping from his injury. I spoke with him, and seems like a genuine person. Really enjoyed talking with him. Him and Christian Fanning will be competing very hard. Fanning looked very good kicking this season. To All "MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY NEW YEAR" A little more than a month and a half will be Our National Letter Of Signing Day, can't wait. Vic Wallace
