They scrapped their asses off despite the literal worst-case scenario. Georgetown was hitting everything, and we couldn't hit anything. Given the shooting woes and their surprising high shooting percentage, I would've guessed we'd lose by 30. The team scrapped like hell and tried to make a game of it despite nothing going right. Most teams would've quit.
Venkatasha might have been the best player on the floor. He looked fantastic. Harvey struggled but still found a way to throw in 24 points. Not many players could do that on an off night. And Sir Washington will be a great addition next year... He makes me feel like we've got a good replacement for Drew Brandon. This team should be loaded for next year. Bliz also showed he can play against anyone.
This game showed that we need to find at least one good big man to match up against a quality team. If we can find a single athletic big man for next season, we' ll be a force!
