PSU 2017 Season

Griz til I die

Well I expect about the same kind of season again this year for Portland State as they had last year. QB Alex Kuresea will be back as well as a good portion of the offense but what the Viks don't have much of is a defense.

@ Montana St.- L, but close

My prediction: 3-8. That's my prediction. What do you guys think?

2-9. Just don't see many wins in that schedule.

PSU does not have their QB Alex Kuresea coming back. Interesting, they wound up with Jason Talley, who was an EWU signing out of high school.

Talley was from the Portland area, so this isn't a surprise. Portland State seems to be the one Big Sky team that is totally unpredictable each and every year. Their big issue is that they have a VICIOUS schedule. It actually compares with the brutal early games we play. It isn't unthinkable for them to start 1-5. If that happens, all the motivation leaves the team and they likely finish around 3-8. Everything will hinge on beating a couple of those teams they'll be underdogs against early in the year.
