Portland State has hired a director of football operations, Daniel Kuhn, who held the same position at Penn the past two years.
Kuhn is due at PSU at the start of April. The Vikings begin spring practices on April 20.
Kuhn spent three years at Penn, the first as video coordinator for the Ivy League Quakers. He interned with the Buffalo Bills in 2001 and graduated from Nicholls State in 2003 with a degree in business administration. He worked 18 months with the Arena Football League Austin Wranglers as director of operations.
Meanwhile, the Vikings' Oct. 31 road game with Eastern Washington has been moved from Cheney, Wash., to Qwest Field in Seattle. Kickoff is 1 p.m. It will be the fourth of five road games for PSU.
