Dominguez:

After watching video this week of Weber State repeatedly beating the Vikings in transition and scoring easy baskets, senior Jeremiah Dominguez said the team knows it must improve its defense to do so.

"Everybody knows it," Dominguez said. "Some guys know that they're not good defenders and either we're going to try to step it up or not. It's on us. These teams aren't beating us. I think we're beating ourselves more than them. It all depends on us and what we're going to do and how we're going to come out."

Bone:

Only the Big Sky tournament winner is guaranteed an NCAA Tournament berth, and the conference has never received an at-large bid. Three weeks ago, Bone had hoped the Vikings were positioned to be the first if it came to that, but now he's focused on the conference tournament.

"History has shown that it's the team that peaks at the end of the year that has got a great chance to go on to the NCAA Tournament," he said.

Bone must be an idiot to think they had a chance for an auto-bid. Having one huge win wont get you in. Even our 14-0 2003 team wouldn't have made it if they didn't win the conference tourney, and that team had the 5th most votes outside of the AP Top 25.

In 2004 USU finished the regular season ranked #25 and they didnt even make the big dance after losing in their conference tourney.

Portland St.
Will you jack-asses get over your self's. You got your asses beat twice by WSU just freaking take it like men. Lot's of Sky teams have gotten used to getting spanked by the Wildcats and you guys just might as well get used to it also because it isnt going to change!
PSU reminds me alot of the Dallas Cowboys, in their own minds they think they are they greatest players on earth but in reality they really just suck.
PSU, know your role, have fun fighting for 4th place, shut your damn mouths, and realize that when the Conf tourney comes around you will be saying "thank you Weber may I have another?" beat down that is

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.... I don't know what game dominguez was referring to, it surely couldn't have been the game against Weber?

Hell, Dominquez hardly was on the floor at all the night they let us beat them! They oughta just shut up and play ball. If they're not careful, they are gonna slip all the way from conference favorites to just barely grasping one of the last BSC tourney berths.

And another thing.... What is Bone talking about peaking? His team peaked in December... they are good and talented, but losing two big games a few weeks before the tourny isn't peaking, its called limping... He'll be lucky if his team is even able to get the semis they way they are playing.

Their season was over in their minds after they beat the always "Overrated" Gonzaga. The players on that team need another "HUGE" slice of humble pie. And I'm sure Weber would be glad to hand it to them in the championship game.   Guaranteed! Guaranteed! Gauranteed!
