Excited that play is starting, even if it is a scrimmage.
What are the things you will be looking at from early season games?

I am looking forward to see how the #2 spot develops and who plays, along with how Bull does in the 3.

Who starts at the 2 is going to be very interesting. If I hadn't heard so much talk about Bull at the 3 I'd swear we would see Lillard-Bamforth-Hughey-Bull on the floor alot together.
The other 2 things I'll be watching - Tresnak is he ready for significant minutes?
-Fulton does his lack of or slow defense negate his length and his solid post play? If so, and we see more Mahoney, can we see enough offense from our FrontCourt 4-Mahoney 5-Morris to have them on the floor alot together?

Does anyone know if the mens scrimmge starts at 7, or will it be after the women, so more so around 7:30? I assume that as in the past, the women play and then the men after. It could be cool if they showed the highlights from last years team on the new video board before the scrimmage! ;)

I'm sure CT and her lady Cats will grace us with a 20min scrimmage before we get a chance to watch the Wizard unveil his 2010-2011 addition. They'd be dumb if they didnt, but I'm sure the athletic department will be showing off the new screens every chance they get.

As for tomorrow...I don't think we will see to much till next Monday, but it will be nice to see all the players play.

Men's team looks 100% legit this year. I think we're going undefeated in Big Sky play, no joke or sarcasm intended. This team looks talented and DEEP. We could play 12 guys this year. Tresnak and Morris look to be a dangerous duo in the post. Plenty of reason to believe the outside shots will be open. 8-)

The women on the other hand had 8 turnovers to start the scrimmage.

i was impressed as well; especially with rich, porter and trez. trez doesn't look like a true freshman big. richardson looks very quick, too bad he will redshirt (is that for sure?). Porter did it all swats/dunks/3's. Can't wait for December.

I was very impressed with the team last night. They are quick and potent.

The last couple of years Weber's biggest problem has been quickness. Weber got smacked last year because of their lack of speed against Cincy. I think the Wizard solved that problem this year. Richardson, wow...for a freshman he is quick, sees the court extremely well, and has some great passing skills. I'd love to see him and Lillard on the court at the same time.

Bamforth and Porter are hustlers who can hit shots anywhere on the court. And the Bigs!! Wow...Tresnak and Hajek!! I really like how Tresnak played last night. I think he will be fine.

I agree...I think Weber could play 12 men. Its too bad that Mook has to sit for a year. He is solid. That guy is going to be a beast in the blocks.
