QB's

Eastern has been QB-u for a number of years, Baldwin years to be specific. We are in good shape now and possibly through the EB3 years but how is our cupboard? As we know Baldwin was a QB guy who will fill that role?

Eagles keep passing and winning and HS QBs (and WRs) wanna be Eagles will be flocking here, just as a very special Mr. Gubrud did a few years ago.

I think we will continue that same QB U, as Eric is chomping at the bit, and then we have Simon Burkett in our future. I’m probably most excited about Simon, and what he and (his very talented) class will do! The future is bright for us!

I just hope that Barriere, or whoever the presumptive heir is to Gubrud, can get enough reps this year so that we’re not completely starting from scratch next season.

Talon, I concur with your line of thinking. I also think GG and EWU are thinking Payton Award winner. He's on a nice trajectory thus far and every complete pass/td/yards passing/running contribute to that end. I don't know what I just said.

I was thinking more long term. Because Baldwin was a QB, strong QB's were a focus and part of the culture. I would hope and expect O-line will become a stronger feature of the Eagles culture going forward. I don't even know who is the QB coach is now.

Same as OC: Bodie Reeder.

True, but I think we had some pretty good QB’s even under Wulff.
